This hawk landed in the umbrella tree adjacent to our front yard feeders
about mid afternoon. Our presence at the front window startled it and it
flew. It attempted to return once more but was again startled by my
husband who had gone outside to fill the feeders for my ever present flock of
House Sparrows.

We spotted this specimen arouond 1:00 p.m. in a harvested corn field. The
Location was not far from Luther Marsh.
