Donations

 

Charitable Organization

KWFN is a registered charitable organization.  Membership fees and all donations are tax deductible.  Tax receipts are issued once a year.  Receipts will be available at the January meeting.  Unclaimed receipts are mailed following the February meeting.

 

Donations

Donations are welcome!  Cheques are made payable to KWFN.  Note the destination fund in the memo section of your cheque.  Destination funds are Operating Fund, Sanctuary Fund, Young Naturalists/Youth Fund

You may mail your cheque to
[ KWFN Membership Director, 317 Higland Road East, Kitchener, Ontario  N2M 3W6 ] or bring your cash or cheque to the next Meeting of KWFN. 

 

Operating Fund

Membership fees and donations to the operating fund are used to support the day to day operation of the KWFN.

 

Sanctuary Fund

Monies in the Sanctuary Fund may be used:
- to acquire land;
- to help others {organizations}acquire property;
- to maintain our properties;
- to pay taxes on our properties.

Young Naturalists/Youth Fund

Monies donated to this fund are used to support the activities of the Young Naturalists Club (7 - 12 years) and Youth projects (13-17 years).
